It is cold and wet outside this morning. I am avoiding picking the things that get me soaked for a few minutes this morning.
We have a large selection of produce for you. My little Peter came in from his garden with an 11 lb rutabaga from in his garden. It is about a foot across. He wants to sell it.
I have started picking some of the earliest kinds of winter squash. They are slow to mature as they had a slow start in June- wait till late september for getting your winter’s supply (if you want the best selection.)
The storage onions were slow to dry this year so they are still in various barns and the greenhouse. They will be ready to purchase by next week. There are lots of nice onions- enough for everybody.
We have a few chickens this week. We will keep doing more of them in the coming weeks as they get big enough. Daniel
